Test riding an electric bike, e-scooter, or pedal bike is fun and easy!
Almost every person starts the test ride with a smile and then they go off to explore the features of the electric bikes and scooters. After all, there are many different designs and types of ebikes, e-scooters, and pedal bikes available to lease from Ridepanda and they are all available for a test ride prior to starting a lease.
For example, you can choose to test ride e-scooters, pedal bikes, a folding ebike, an electric mountain bike (eMTB), a cargo hauler, performance ebike, and more!
For those of you who have a Ridepanda micromobility leasing program at your company and are interested, the test rides are located at our Ridepanda PandaHubs in New York, Seattle, and San Francisco.
If you’re not sure whether e-bikes are right for you, or if you want some tips on how to get started, then read this post on what to expect when test riding an electric bike with Ridepanda.
We know that riding an electric bike or electric scooter for the first time can be intimidating, and we want to ensure you that we’ve created a great experience for you to learn and get comfortable with the vehicle you are test riding.
We’ve highlighted a few key points below to help make sure your first ride is a great one. Here’s what to expect during your test ride with Ridepanda:
Ridepanda makes it simple to test ride an e-bike
Ridepanda is a great resource if you are looking to test ride an e-bike, e-scooter, or pedal bike. It’s easy to set up an appointment at your convenience and the bikes available are all top-of-the-line.
Plus, your test ride environment will be the actual road environment you’ll be riding in which helps to learn what vehicle you prefer in a real situation (instead of doing circles on a closed course like our Ridepanda is showcasing in the video above).
Where Ridepanda really stands out: we focus on the user experience. You can book a test ride from our website, which makes it simple and convenient to schedule your test ride no matter where you are or what kind of phone you’re carrying.
Ridepanda is also flexible with the type of test ride. You can get a group test ride, where you can bring along another person to try out the bike with you, or you can get a private test ride so that no one else will be around while you check out the vehicles.
Helping to select the right vehicle for you
E-bikes and e-scooters are the new way to get around. They’re affordable and environmentally friendly, and they can get you up those hills with ease. If you want to try out an electric bicycle or e-scooter but aren’t sure which one is right for you, there’s no better way than with a test ride.
You’ll learn how easy it is to ride one. The first time riding an e-bike is like riding a regular bike — except that you don’t have to pedal as hard or at all! You can just glide along without having to think about it too much. After a few minutes on an e-bike, you’ll never want to go back to using a regular bike again!
During your test ride, please feel comfortable to take your time and make sure you are comfortable with the vehicle’s size, design, and features.
You’ll get a feel for the different types of bikes available. E-bikes come in many different styles — from road bikes to mountain bikes — so picking one can be confusing if you aren’t sure what kind of riding you’d like to do most often.
At the test ride, you will have several vehicles to choose from that you can lease in the Panda Portal.
A trained light electric vehicle expert (e-ride expert) will be there for you
At Ridepanda, we want to make testing an e-bike & e-scooter as simple as possible.
We understand that there are many people who have never tried an electric bike before, so we want to make sure that you have a great experience. For that reason, a trained light electric vehicle expert (e-ride expert) will be there for you.
The e-ride expert will be there to help adjust the fit of the vehicle as well as answer any questions you may have about the vehicle. There will be a short training session before your test ride that will teach you how to operate the bike safely and efficiently.
Ride as many vehicles as you would like to find the one that fits you the best
The most important part of choosing an e-bike is riding it. When you come down for a test ride, we recommend riding at least a couple different types of e-bikes. The key to finding the right bike is to ride a variety of styles and see what you like.
You can go on a test ride for a short period of time and ride as many vehicles as you would like to find the one that fits you and your needs the best.
It’s important to note that all electric bikes are not necessarily equal. Some are geared toward more casual riders who just want something easy and fun to ride around town; others are geared toward serious cyclists who need something faster or sturdier than their standard two-wheeled ride. So it might take some trial and error before you find the perfect fit for your needs.
